The Valley of Karaccia has been updated and expanded!
With the release of MECC3: The Knaves of Nefford, MECC4: The Realm of Imlar, and MECC6: The Salt Shipment, we wanted to revist our first two releases and bring their layout, formatting, and art style in line with the latter.
This expanded version of MECC1: The Valley of Karaccia has information about all the settlements in the valley, adventure hooks for some of the dungeon locations which are on the map but not detailed in the modules, new maps, new art, corrections, and more!
MECC1: The Valley of Karaccia is an introductory campaign for the Castles & Crusades RPG. Karaccia is a mountain basin in the realm of Imlar; a perfect place for beginning adventurers to learn the ropes. Contained in this module you’ll find an overview of the valley, detailed information on the town of Brink, and three adventures to kick off a new campaign: “The Crimson Caverns,” “The Relic of Fallsbarrow,” and “The Brinkwood Thicket.”
Responding to a flier promising payment for kobold heads, the party has gathered in the town of Brink. From there, they set out on an expedition to the Crimson Caverns, the known location of the kobolds’ lair. After proving their mettle against the vicious scamps, the PCs are implored by the local head of the Church of Erm to recover a needed artifact from Fallsbarrow to save the life of an important cleric.
Not long after, during the annual Brightbloom festival, the town is overrun by giant spiders who take the festival princess into the Brinkwood. In their effort to save her, the PCs will uncover a plot by a tribe of elves to use her as a sacrifice. The PCs will have to aid them to convince the elves to release their prisoner.

MECC2: Nefford and Beyond continues the exploration of Karaccia, this time shifting from the northern part of the valley to the southern. After generally exhausting the adventure opportunities near the town of Brink, those looking for further fame and glory would be wise to head south to the large town of Nefford.
Within, the Castle Keeper will find all the information they need to run adventures in and around Nefford. There’s a brief history of the town, information on the two powerful families who hold the most sway, descriptions of some of the more important points of interest, side quests and adventure hooks revolving around the town and its inhabitants, and maps of the area. This is followed up by three adventures, Trouble in Southshore, They Came From Wood’s Hollow, and The Woe of Gul Nalore.
For 4-6 PCs of levels 3-6.
In the first, a simple bounty on orcs turns into a game of tribal politics with the PCs trying restore an ages-long truce which has been disturbed. The second involves boat-stealing lizardmen. Finally, the PCs will be hired by a town of elves to help with a “dragon” problem, and then gets caught up with a talking wyvern, ninja turtles, and evil serpentmen in a lost temple (oh my!).

MECCM1: The Mines of Valdhum
Nordriki, the northern kingdom of the land of Mithgarthr, has been relatively free of dragons for hundreds of years, but recently the locals have been reporting sightings of red, white, and green dragons all throughout the Drekiberg mountains to the north. Recently, a green dragon has taken up residence in an abandoned mine that is close to the city of Valdhum. The surrounding land is rich with wildlife for the beast to feed on, and the lair it has chosen is well protected and secluded.
The Mines of Valdhum is an exciting adventure for 4-6 PCs of levels 6-8. Written originally for BECMI, it has since seen Labyrinth Lord and Fifth Edition conversions, and is now available for Castles & Crusades with a fresh layout, further editing and corrections, and new maps!
It includes:
* Setting information for a mysterious forest, "Der Nordwald!"
* Details for the town of Valdhum, located in the heart of Der Nordwald!
* A five level dungeon full of wicked creatures, vicious traps, and a vile green dragon!
* A one level dungeon side quest, full of devious tricks and traps!
This module contains enough for many sessions of play that will satisfy both the pugnacious and cognitive player!

RC1: The Valley of karaccia
This module gives a brief overview of the eponymous valley, details the town of Brink, and provides two beginner adventures for characters of levels 1-2. The Crimson Caverns is a classic, basic jaunt into kobold-infested caverns meant to help teach new players the basics of OSR-style gaming. This is followed by Fallsbarrow, a much more challenging adventure, in which the heroes are tasked by the local church to recover a relic from the nearby crypts in order to save the life of a beloved member of the community.

Labyrinth Lord Gnome Class
One of the races considered prominent in Mithgarthr is gnomes, but for those who like to play their Labyrinth Lord games with only the core books there are no rules to play them!
Mithgarthr Entertainment presents our version of a race-as-class gnome! Inside you'll find a description of their appearance (notably different than that given for gnomes in the monster section of the core rule book; these are Mithgarthian gnomes!), ability descriptions, leveling charts, and all that fun stuff.
And what sets them apart from the other race-as-class fellows in the core book? The Mithgarthian gnome allows you to have a Theif/Magic-User (akin to an elf being a Fighter/Magic-User). How fun is that?
